Susan Wakefield is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on Kaurna Country, South Australia. Her practice explores the complexities of human interaction and the ways social environments shape individual experience. Influenced by psychoanalytic thought and her own lived experience, she creates poetic visual works that attempt to give form to feelings that are difficult to articulate. Embracing her own fallibility, she uses art as a way of understanding herself and others.
